Getting Zexy

If you're living in Japan and are planning on tying the knot, you're likely to pick up a copy of Zexy -- Japan's largest wedding magazine publication selling over 33,000 copies each year. It's THE bible for all things wedding and will set you back 500 yen (about $6). It even comes with its own reinforced carrier bag because you're getting married and that's how you roll (oh yeah, and it weights over 4.5 pounds!).

So needless to say, we were excited to have several of our pieces featured in Zexy's 2013 Autumn & Winter Overseas Wedding Guide. Shot at Hale Puna Kai, an oceanfront private estate in Aina Haina, the editorial shoot showcased goods from several awesome wedding vendors, including our Dome Chairs and Mr. and Mrs. Pillows.

The shoot was held throughout the property and we're loving the styling of the bride and groom in our Dome Chairs set beneath the shade of a large tree. The balloon shape of the chair and it's romantic lines are the perfect statement piece to highlight the special couple (not to mention the bride's fabulous wedding dress). The Mr. and Mrs. pillows also add a soft and whimsical touch. After all, what better way to reserve your seat than with an embroidered pillow.

So if you're in the market to add some super "Kawaii" decor and ideas for your upcoming wedding you may want to check out Zexy. Just watch out for those papercuts--bandaged fingers are no fun.

Until next time...
