Earlier this month, INspiration Interiors celebrated the Hawaii launch of Kartell’s line as well as an expanded collection of COBRA Art at the Honolulu Design Center.
Based in Italy, Kartell is the leading design manufacturer for contemporary plastic furniture—including some of our fave iconic pieces such as the Bourgie lamp, FL/Y pendant, and of course the Louis Ghost Chair. Additionally, the COBRA Art Company, a manufacturer and distributor of photographic art, has quickly made us fans of their colorful and bold collections.
The Cupola Theater, located in the Honolulu Design Center, was the site of this event and it was exciting to see a wide array of Kartell pieces in one room (...talk about kids in a candy store!). One of our faves of the evening was the Lou Lou Ghost Chair—a petite version of the Louis Ghost Chair, and a perfect seating option for kids.
It was a packed evening with several fun elements, including a performer handing out bubbly from her champagne-clad hoop skirt, awesome raffle prizes and a performance from Japanese jazz pianist, Senri Oe.
So if you’re in the area, definitely stop by the Honolulu Design Center and scope out all the Kartell awesomeness on the 3rd floor, as well as the COBRA Art pieces displayed throughout the building.
Mahalo to the HDC team for inviting us and hosting such a fab evening!
